Southview Daisy Days
Wednesday 6th and Wednesday 13th August 2008

We are offering a day dedicated to the daisy family, that is Asteracea. It's the largest plant family and contributes greatly to our gardens in all its many forms and shapes.

The day begins at 10.30am with tea or coffee in the garden and an introduction to us and the nursery.
11.00am Mark will give a talk on Daisies (more than meets the eye) illustrated with slides. This should end at around 12.15am followed by a question and answer session.

A light summer lunch will be provided, undercover in the garden. This will have a vegetarian option.

After lunch, around 2.00pm there will be a chance to have a look around the garden and then go across the road to the nursery for 'The Daisy Propagation Talk and Demonstration'. This is the practical part of the day, please bring secateurs , plant material will be provided.

Visitors can then look around the nursery after which tea coffee and soft drinks will be provided in the garden.

We can only accommodate 10 people on the day on a first come first served basis. We must have a minimum of 8 people to run the course.

'Daisy Day' costs £80 per person and includes light lunch and refreshments.

Please phone or email for a booking form.
